The purpose of creating this site is not just to entertain and educate. The main objective is to bring the foil community together. I want to create a site where anyone can go to learn about foil surfing. The site is an open book. I have not predetermined what it should look like or be. My vision is to have my fellow foilers contribute to the site. This could be in many forms but here are a few that come to mind.

• Write an article on foil design, theory, boards or adventure
• Videos of foil surfing
• Videos of Foil theory or design
• Create your own page and I will share the link or if word press I can insert it into the site
• Comments section
• Travel experiences

The foiling community is a small group right now. I am here visiting Hawaii and have 8 guys I am texting and going to foil with! When could regular surfing ever give you that. The community is just like Snowboarding was when I first started in 1984. Small. When I meet someone else snowboarding we would then board together. Social media was not around then so things were much more random, but the feeling of community is the same. I am not sure if foiling will gain the status of snowboarding, but one thing is for sure, we are all pioneers of the sport. Maybe you are the guy driving the wagon across the country into the unknown or the guy who built them. It doesn’t matter because without all the pieces the puzzle never comes together.
